HOSPITALS
The college has 2 teaching hospitals to meet the requirements
of the MCI. Both the hospitals cater to the needs of
weaker section of the society. The Dr B R Ambedkar Medical
College Hospital, situated on the college campus is
run by the College. The KC General Hospital, Malleswaram
is run by the Karnataka Government and has been taken
on lease for clinical facilities to our students. Both
these hospitals are manned by our doctors and provide
modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. Except
in the special wards, all diagnostic facilities and
treatment is provided free of cost. Outpatient and In-patient
attendance is increasing daily in all specialities,
providing excellent exposure of graduate and post-graduate
students to all varieties of clinical cases, and enabling
clinical research.
