PERIPHERAL SERVICES

The satellite urban & rural health centres of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College provide extension of medical relief to semi-urban and rural populations. They also act as centers for re-orientation and training of medical students. Apart from this, regular monthly specialists’ camps are organized at various villages in and around Bangalore. The college is also involved in all centrally sponsored national programmes of health viz. Family Planning, Leprosy Eradication, prevention of Blindness and Universal Immunization.
